Forklift operation– (QLD May 2010). The purpose of the safety alert is to remind employers and forklift operators of the need to operate forklifts in a safe manner. Professional Solutions and Peace of Mind

This is Step 1 and as you can determine from the diagram below there are a number of activities which MINC Risk Services will undertake during this process

STEP 1

1. At our first meeting with the client we work together to develop a full understanding of the work required. Using our field tool and checklist process ensures we cover all the bases and provide the Client with a clear picture our discussions and the “Scope of Work” for this project.

2. Following the meeting, we take the information gathered and use it to generate a proposal that details the tasks by using the same Steps and Activities you will see listed here. In this way the client can easily associate the item against the graph and understand which step of the Risk Management Program we are discussing. The proposal is forward to the client for pre-reading and consideration.

3. With-in one week of the proposal being issued our staff shall set up a suitable time to attend the second site meeting with the client to elaborate on the items highlighted and to answer any further questions or concerns. At this time, after listening to the client, our staff will make suggestions about the priority of the works and comment on the timing. Once the client is satisfied with the proposed process flow, Scope of Works and timing our staff shall arrange for a suitable, licenced Occupational Health & Safety Officer to schedule the work into their roster.

4. Using a specially designed process checklist and the field tool, our staff shall conduct the Safety audit ensuring that they capture any areas of note on camera for ease of future reference. The specific audit type may vary greatly depending on the business operation. On completion of the field audit, the data is uploaded into our Server for generation of the report.

This report shall consist of 3 sections.

  • Introduction to the Audit Report
  • All areas checked accompanied by photos for areas of note
  • Suggested priority listing subject to a further Risk Assessment rating

5. We nominate the final point as a “HOLD POINT”. This identifies the need for the actions to be reviewed and closed out before moving onto the next Step.

The list and combination are extensive. With each combined service receive a minimum 10% discount off the total services fee.

MINC Risk Services look forward to helping answer your questions and developing your business to the new highs in the area of Health & Safety.
